About us

The company – is based in Linz, Austria, one of the leading industrial powerhouse regions in the Austrian economy. Since mid-2018 ACTICON distributes and represents Condition Monitoring (CM) and Predictive Maintenance (PM) technologies in the German speaking regions Austria, Germany and Switzerland (DACH). The current portfolio, supplied by European and Israeli manufacturers, comprises CM and PM hardware and software product solutions for monitoring process-critical databases and critical infrastructure such as transformers, generators, electric motors, substations (including sensors for components such as medium voltage circuit breakers, batteries and feeder bays).

ACTICON is always on the active lookout for innovative software, products and system solutions in the field of Condition Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance that provide added value to utilities, DNOs, TSOs and large industry. ACTICON’s business model is to act as distributor or commercial agency, providing market access, developing and managing sales pipelines as well as helping with cultural intricacies.

The team – consists of management, sales and engineering professionals with more than 15 years of industry experience each. Long-standing personal networks stem from proven sales and project track records. Prior to their current enterprise the team members have held senior management and engineering positions in renowned companies, having dedicated their entire working lives to selling, designing and manufacturing medium and low voltage switch gear, power transformers, power and control electronics as well as to the electrical installation business.

Jürgen Gehbert

Managing Partner | Business Development, Tech Scouting, Finance

Jürgen Gehbert has been in the electrical and electronics engineering business since 1998. During his various Executive Sales and Product Management tenures he was responsible for Business Unit’s product portfolios and large scale projects and in electrical infrastructure and electronics manufacturing. At ACTICON Systems he is responsible for Tech Scouting, Business Development, Marketing and Finance.

Richard Peinbauer

Managing Partner | Sales, Key Accounts, Purchasing, HR

Richard Peinbauer has been working in the energy and electrical engineering business since 2002. His experience ranges from previous Executive Management positions as a general manager at a switch gear manufacturing site to expert and engineering work in power transformer and coil manufacturing. His responsibilities at ACTICON: Sales, Key Accounts, Procurement, Human Resources.


Authorized Officer | Operations

Since 2007 David has been working as a project and product manager in electrical engineering, energy, switch gears and buildign technologies. David has valuable experience in large scale energy switch gear projets. At ACTICON he is responsible for Operations (Manufaturing, Project Management

Christian Kern

Partner | Advisor

Christian Kern has served as Federal Chancellor (Prime Minister) of the Republic of Austria. He had conducted business for more than 20 years, keeping several Board and C-Level positions in the energy- and rail industry in Austria, Turkey, Italy and France. Currently Christian is Partner and Director of The Blue Minds Company/Vienna, Chairman of the Israel based Energy-AI Startup Fsight/HodHasharon and is acting as advisor of several Israel based tech companies.

Eveline Steinberger-Kern

Eveline Steinberger-Kern is serial-entrepreneur in the field of the current high-tech trends. She founded The Blue Minds Company GmbH, addressing questions of global energy transformation, developing business models based on digitalization and investing in startups. Earlier, she had spent 20 years in different leading management positions in the sectors of energy and infrastructure with international responsibility.

Bernhard Raberger

Partner | Advisor

Bernhard Raberger advises on chances and risks triggered by the transformation of the energy sector, in consultancy, analysis/research and interim-management. He supports, challenges and mentors startups from early-stage to roll-out. Bernhard develops renewable energy investments in emerging markets and advises established corporate energy players and financial institutions/investors on renewables in emerging markets.
